Stephen Curry – Mario

This one is a no-brainer. The biggest similarity between Stephen Curry and Mario is that they are both the faces of their respective franchises and are, by far, the most popular characters. So much so, that even the most casual of fans will know or have heard of them – their name transcends the group they belong to, and are superstars in their own right.

On a skill level, both are quite similar as well. Curry is one of the most well-rounded point guards in the league, capable of excelling at any given aspect, be it passing, shooting, dribbling or playmaking. Mario is the same – he is a medium-class character, and is often used by newer players due to his all-round stats.
