Draymond Green – Donkey Kong

For those unaware, Donkey Kong was initially a villain in the first few Donkey Kong games. Due to his popularity, he was later turned into the protagonist of the series, Donkey Kong Country, and has since never been referred to as a villain.

DK’s change in character can be seen slightly in Draymond Green. Quite similar to DK’s own personal journey, Dray’s performance last season has turned him into a fan favourite among the Warriors’ faithful, while other fanbases love to hate him. He earned his big paycheck during the offseason, akin to DK earning his own franchise after years of being the secondary character.

After spending much of their initial years as a pest, both are now stars in their own right.
