Andrew Bogut – Bowser
Ahh, Bowser. I feel confident that if you were to ask Andrew Bogut which Mario Kart character he identifies the most with, he would pick Bowser. Both are just scary characters that do their best work when their opponents are scared.
Bowser thrives on the race track when he is able to use his size to bump you. Speed isn’t his greatest attribute, but he is one of the heaviest characters on the game, and can use it to disorient you for long periods of time when he crashes into you. The same could be said when Bogut catches you flush on a screen.
As for their reputation, Bogut has gained a bit of a reputation as a “dirty” player in the league. He does the little things that referees don’t tend to notice – the odd moving screen, the little tug when you’re going up for a rebound, the “oh, your head just happens to be where my elbows are”.
Coincidentally, all things that you would associate with Bowser.
