5. Warriors Select Jason Richardson With the 5th Pick in the 2001 NBA Draft
In 2000, the Warriors had gone 19-63, sixth in the pacific division, and 48 games out.
Yikes. Everytime I see something basketball related from this time period it brings back some bad memories from the Chris Cohan era.
Unfortunately for us Warrior fans, this was a typical season for that time.
Golden State finished 21-61 his rookie season, but Richardson had a solid campaign averaging 14.4 points, 4.3 boards, and 3 assists.
