With the preseason done and the rosters set, the Golden State Warriors are ready to defend their title.

One of the biggest reasons why the Warriors had so much success last season was because of the play of their backcourt, led by league MVP, Stephen Curry. Curry’s running mate, Klay Thompson was arguably the best overall shooting guard in the NBA. Throw in Shaun Livingston and Leandro Barbosa, the Warriors were armed with one the best backcourts in the history of the game.

We’ll omit newcomer Ian Clark, who was just signed to the team but he will probably see a majority of his playing time come in Santa Cruz in the D-League.

The Warriors will try to repeat their success this season but it all starts with their backcourt.
