3. Nov 14 vs. Brooklyn, (David vs. Goliath)

The Nets might be the worst team in league, but they’ve almost beat the Warriors twice.

Thaddeus Young had a field day posting up Draymond in the first half scoring 18, and the Nets went into halftime up 54-52. Jarret Jack was a key piece of those Warrior teams that turned it around circa 2013, and he had himself a game, scoring 29 and 9, including clutch shots over Curry down the stretch.

Down 3 with 6 seconds left, Andre Iguodala drained a deep 3 over Joe Johnson, which tied the game at 97 with time for one more possession for the Nets. Coming out of the timeout with .5 seconds left, I was screaming at Luke Walton through my TV that the only play the Nets could run was some sort of lob to the rim directly from the inbounder, especially since Derek Fisher wasn’t on the court. As suspected the Nets got their lob to the basket, but Brook Lopez missed a point blank push shot from close range that would have counted, and the Warriors put the game away in OT pushing their record to 11-0. Talk about dodging a bullet.
