Curry’s offseason started off the way every player wants it to start: with a parade.
But it only got busier from there.
Curry made numerous appearances throughout the summer and racked up even more awards.
As a newly crowned champ, Curry carried Bay Area boxer Andre Ward’s belt to the ring at Oracle Arena. He then owned the ESPYs, winning Best NBA player and Best Male Athlete. Right after, Curry–and daughter Riley–attended Nickelodeon’s Kid Choice Awards where Curry came away with more hardware, winning three blimps for Clutch Player of the Year, Sickest Moves, and Best Male Athlete. At the Teens’ Choice Awards, he came away with Male Athlete of the Year.
As any megastar does, he made the rounds on daytime television. He hung out with Stephen Colbert, Rachael Ray, and Michael Strahan and Kelly Ripa.
Curry was named one of the cover athletes on the latest installment of the NBA 2K series alongside Davis and Harden.
He traveled the world as part of his Under Armour tour after being handed the keys to the brand. He visited several Asian countries, performing in front of rabid fans.
The highlight of Curry’s offseason might have been playing golf with President Barack Obama, who has become quite friendly with the NBA star.
