  1. Themselves

The only team that can stop the Golden State Warriors is the Golden State Warriors.

It’s hard to imagine any team beating them four times in a seven game series unless the Warriors beat themselves first.

The Warriors have shown a tendency to get complacent at times. They build 20 or 30 point leads then led it disappear almost as quickly as they built it. They let teams hang around and make final scores closer than they should be. They’ve done a good job as of late, but the Warriors have been known to let teams build a lead of their own before mounting a comeback.

More from Stephen Curry

Realistically speaking, the Warriors don’t have the top seed locked up. The San Antonio Spurs are right on their tails. If they slack off, they can very well lose their home court advantage. Very recently, the Warriors almost dropped a game to the lowly Philadelphia 76ers. They were also a Brook Lopez missed bunny away from enduring an embarrassing home loss to the Brooklyn Nets.

The Warriors look unstoppable most of the time, but in order to accomplish what they want, they can’t get complacent and get in their own way.
