Here are the best quotes of the night after the Golden State Warriors exacted revenge on the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Portland Trail Blazers never really had a chance in this one, did they?
Two weeks ago, Damian Lillard‘s 51 led the Blazers’ shellacking of the Warriors in Portland by 32. But Stephen Curry and the rest of the Warriors never forget. They knew that Portland, a potential first-round opponent, would visit Oracle Arena soon. Golden State, with pride and a home winning streak on the line, handled their business and sent a message.
In case you forgot how ridiculous the legend of Steph Curry has grown.
Curry gets to half court and a guy behind me keeps yelling- "shoot it!"

The Warriors, trying to find a balance between record chasing and being fresh for the postseason, suffered a bit of a scare during last night’s game when Andre Iguodala exited the game with an injury. Never one to show his hand, Steve Kerr made light of the situation and joked around.

Steph might not have been the most beloved Curry in attendance last night as his daughter, Riley, was featured on the Dance Cam.
Both the Warriors and the Blazers feature high-powered, fast-paced offenses with explosive backcourts. Both squads combined to set the record for most three-pointers in a game. Unfortunately for the Blazers, it didn’t really help.
"I don't think a team has ever hit 10 3s and been down 20 pts in a half." - Kerr

Lillard, recently compared to Curry by Kerr, broke Klay Thompson‘s record for most three-pointers through four seasons. Thompson, no stranger to breaking records, commented on the feat.
Klay on Lillard breaking his record for most 3's in first 4 seasons: Good for him. Records are meant to be broken. It's good for the game.

Newcomer Anderson Varejao is still getting used to the Warriors pace. Per SFBay.com:
"“I’m getting used to the pace that they play, it’s fast. I wasn’t playing much in Cleveland, and I still need to get my cardio and everything back. But I am feeling pretty good, am getting used to playing with these guys. What to do, screens and rolls, and all that. … I like the way they plays the game here. Like the way they play offense and defense. Like the way the ball moves. The bodies are always moving and it never stops, and it’s good.”"
Kerr added:
"“I thought he was terrific. He’s been great ever since he’s been here. He fits right in with what we do. Just the passing, the ball movement. He’s a very crafty rebounder and defender. He knows where to be and has been a great addition.”"
After sputtering a bit, the Warriors look like they’re getting back on track.
