The Golden State Warriors shocked the world when they signed Kevin Durant.

This is the signings of all signings.

Kevin Durant is already a Hall of Fame player, one of the most dominant offensive forces the league has ever seen. He’s an MVP and he’s joining a team that won 73 games.

The Durant acquisition is a case of the rich getting richer. This very well could be the beginning of a dynasty. The Warriors have won one title and won 73 games, nearly securing a second championship with their core. Adding a top three player in the world can only mean good things.

What’s truly incredible about snagging KD is the circumstances.

The Golden State Warriors were down 3-1 in the Western Conference Finals to Durant’s Oklahoma City Thunder. A Klay Thompson explosion in Game 6 kept the Dubs alive and the Warriors mounted a monumental comeback.

The rabid Game 7 Oracle Arena crowd, the Warriors’ All-Star trio, and the allure of Silicon Valley attracted Durant. What really sold him on packing his bags for the Bay Area was the idea of winning championships. He’s joining a team that set the single-season wins record with the hope to create the greatest team of all-time.

Signing Durant shows that the Warriors are truly on top of the basketball world. Every member of their core is either in his prime or about to enter it. Their head coach, Steve Kerr, has been to two NBA Finals in his first two seasons. The organization has completed a transformation from joke to standard.

The 2017 season can’t get here soon enough because, love them or hate them, you’re going to watch them do something special.
