David West – Geodude

One of the Golden State Warriors’ newest acquisitions, David West, resembles the rocky Geodude.

If there’s one thing David West will always bring to the floor, its toughness.

Long after his skills complete diminish, he’ll still have that dog in him. It’s why the Warriors were trying to sign him last year and why they offered him a spot again this season. He’s strong, a bully down low, and extremely physical.

So, of course, the only comparison to the newcomer is Geodude.

Geodude, for those of you that don’t know, is literally a rock with two arms. It doesn’t get much tougher than that, right (I know someone out there wants to go WELL ACTUALLY and point out that it evolves into Graveler and Golem, but you get the idea)?

West, like Geodude, wants to get his hands dirty. Both guys want to bang bodies in a battle of strength, ultimately proving that they are stronger and tougher than whoever dares go up against them.

The only real difference between West and Geodude is that one of them is very good at defensive maneuvers and the other one is an NBA player.

The two of them can get a little angry sometimes. Geodude swings his arms and…well, West does the same kind of thing. Just ask his new teammate Zaza Pachulia.
