Draymond Green is one of the best players in all of basketball.

Traditionally, he’s undersized for his position. He succeeds partly because he’s extremely physical and he knows how to use his body. Unfortunately for other opponents, sometimes Green can’t completely control it

Oftentimes, Green’s limbs have a mind of their own and they just flail whenever he does something. Sometimes, they happen to catch something. Steven Adams can tell you first hand about that.

Green’s an intense competitor that will do anything to win. He wants to create space and, when he can, draw contact. In the modern NBA, it’s imperative to exaggerate the contact and make sure the referee gives you the whistle.

His penchant for kicking his legs out makes it abundantly clear that his Pokémon counterpart is Hitmonlee.

If you’re a die-hard Pokémon and Golden State Warriors fan, then you probably knew this was coming when you clicked the link.

Hitmonlee is a fighting-type Pokémon. It has a small, oval body. Its arms and legs can stretch out and expand in order to attack. It has incredible balance with the ability to execute a kick–its primary form of attack–at all times.

The two of them are feisty and know how to use their bodies effectively. The only difference is that Hitmonlee clearly uses his legs intentionally and Green, depending on who you ask, doesn’t.
