Klay Thompson – Shooting Guard

The other member of “The Splash Brothers” ended up playing a key role in the turnaround of the Western Conference Finals, as the Warriors managed to overcome a 3-1 deficit against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

If it wasn’t for Klay Thompson’s big performance on the road in Game 6, the Warriors would not have even made it to the NBA Finals. He also didn’t have his best performance in the NBA Finals, but it was another personal record-breaking year for Thompson.

His game has gotten better all-around and he is no longer just a shooter for the team. He has the ability to create his own shot, driver the lane and score in a variety of ways to help his team out.

When it comes to projecting the starting lineup for next season, Thompson is another easy one to pencil right in for the Warriors, as him and Stephen Curry will continue to dominate for many years to come in Golden State.

What will be interesting to watch is to see just how much more of his game Thompson continues to improve on. He’s taken huge strides already and his game has made him one of the best players in the league.
