Kevin Durant – Small Forward

While everyone knows that Kevin Durant and Draymond Green are both going to be in the starting lineup for the Golden State Warriors next season, it’s all a matter of where each of them plays.

One of them is going to be at the small forward spot and the other is going to be at the power forward spot.

Although Durant is a good deal taller than Green, slotting him at his natural position makes the most sense and Green has proven to be more than capable enough of taking on all big men in the NBA.

With Durant out on the wing for the Warriors, it gives the team yet another dangerous weapon that can facilitate the offense along with the other three superstars on the team. It also means that if Klay Thompson or Stephen Curry go cold, Durant is right there to pick them up.

With more superstars on the team, the more likely it is that one of them will always be on their game and ready to do big things on the court.

Allowing Durant to play the three gives him the advantage over smaller wings and he should be able to keep a good pace at scoring the basketball.
