Draymond Green – Power Forward

With Kevin Durant in the fold for the Warriors, Draymond Green is pretty much staying put. For most of last season, Green would play the four while Harrison Barnes was at the three. So his role is going to stay the same and it really couldn’t have worked out much better for the Warriors this way.

With Kevin Durant at the wing, Green’s job will become a lot easier and he won’t have to focus as much on scoring the ball as he has in previous seasons. He will be an excellent facilitator down low and he should be able to see his assist numbers raise with an extra scorer like Durant in the lineup.

Defensively, his job will remain the same and that will be to battle with and get under the skin of opposing big men that he goes up against. There’s a reason he’s in the conversation for Defensive Player of the Year every year and that’s because of his ability to guard every position.

He’s going to move around in the lineup depending upon when guys get nights off, but for the most part this is going to be his position and he’s going to be a lot to handle for anyone going up against him down low.
