The Golden State Warriors would have a tough time with Paul George.

Paul George is listed as both a small forward and shooting guard. For this exercise, he’s, categorically speaking, a shooting guard.

But this team, as you’ll see, is built on versatility. James Harden, despite all of his glaring flaws, is probably the best shooting guard in the NBA. But he’s not versatile enough to be a part of this super team.

George is one of the best players in the NBA. People seem to have forgotten that after his injury and during the Indiana Pacers’ complete overhaul. He’s an elite talent on both ends; one that challenged LeBron James in the Eastern Conference Finals just three years ago.

The Pacer wing averaged 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists last season, on 37 percent shooting from beyond the arc. He upped his scoring average to 27 and his three-point percentage to 41 percent in the playoffs in seven tough games this season.

He’s athletic, strong, and incredibly smart. He knows how to defend and find holes in the other team’s defense. He can attack inside and out, creating his own shots. George can take over when he wants, refusing to let his team go down without a fight.

George can defend four positions on the floor. He has great size, 6’9 220 lbs, to go with his quickness. He could defend Thompson and switch off onto Green or Curry.
