2. Stephen Curry

With many of the top players around the league pulling out of the Olympics this year, over health and safety fears of Rio and for other reasons, Team USA is not at their strongest current level and they are more prone for the taking in this type of a battle.

One of those players that won’t be partaking in the Olympics is Stephen Curry. The unanimous MVP is the biggest key for the Golden State Warriors here and he is something that Team USA would have their work cut out to contain.

They do however have Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving and if the NBA Finals this year were any indication, Curry would have a lot to prove in a battle that he just lost at the NBA level. Still, Curry didn’t look right in the finals and he would be healthy in this type of a setting.

That is easily the advantage tipped in the Warriors’ favor and having the back-to-back MVP on the floor for the team along with their other three superstars would go a long way in securing them the victory and proving that they are just as good if not better than the national team.
