5. Curry Two Giraffe(?) PE

These shoes are fantastic.

They weren’t released to the public and there’s no name for them. They’re just a yellow, black, and blue player exclusive (PE) with a giraffe patter on it. Yup, a giraffe.

Curry didn’t wear these shoes a lot and they’re not as recognizable as the other ones on the list, but he probably had the best game of his career in these. He wore them on February 27th–the day he crushed the dreams of the Oklahoma City Thunder and locked in his second consecutive MVP award.

It was such a special game. Curry scored a magnificent 46 points. He was truly an artist at work in this one. He dropped in a record-tying 12 three-pointers (on just 16 attempts!) and none were more spectacular than his last one.

Curry exited the game in the third quarter with an ankle injury after Russell Westbrook (unintentionally) landed on it. Then he saved Golden State.

With just a few precious seconds left on the clock, Andre Iguodala grabbed the rebound and found Curry who took just a few steps past half court, measured out the distance, and hoisted. Of course, being the greatest shooter of all-time, he knew exactly what he was doing.

Swish.

He had the best game of his career in these shoes and they’re different than any other pair he’s worn. That’s why these have the fifth spot.
