2. Iron Sharpens Iron

This was one of the first pairs released to the public for sale and one of the first pairs that Curry himself wore.

The name “Iron Sharpens Iron” comes from the book of Proverbs (Prov 27:17) and, the Warriors’ star, as well know is a very religious person. The phrase is about personal improvement through collaboration and pressure. It’s about sharpening one’s tools; in Curry’s case, that would mean his game and his character.

The shoe has a lot of colors and yet it works. It’s a gray shoe with black, orange, and yellow. If you have a throwback Curry rookie jersey, you could totally pull it off with these kicks. Throughout the upper half of the shoe and along the laces, there’s a bright green. It’s subtle, but it’s there. It gives the shoe extra personality.

This shoe is great for wearing casually because it can go with so many different outfits and combinations. It also didn’t do too bad on the court either.

In the third game of the season, while wearing those wonderful shoes, Curry dropped 53 points on the New Orleans Pelicans, knocking down 8 of 14 three-pointers. He wore these early in the season as the Warriors’ chasing the record for best start in NBA history.

It was a great follow up for the successful Curry One.
