1. Northern Lights

These shoes are so beautiful.

They’re the Michael B. Jordan and Rihanna of shoes. They’re the Sydney Opera House of shoes. They’re the sushi of shoes.

These shoes are in your face. The bright green against the dark blue on top of the milky blue that fades into the hot pink is just such an incredible combination. They’re different and gorgeous. They’re a little strange and it may take some time to warm up to them, but these will win over even the most conservative sneaker heads.

They’re named “Northern Lights” after the Aurora Borealis, the dazzling color display in the sky visible in the Arctic region. They light display is caused by electric particles from the sun colliding and entering the Earth’s atmosphere–which is fitting considering how the sharpshooter’s game is electric.

Curry wore these during the Warriors’ highly-anticipated Christmas Day matchup against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Golden State was able to grind out a tough victory on their home floor.

The MVP had just 19 points, but he totaled 7 rebounds and 7 assists.

Holidays are a time for celebration and, in the NBA, that generally means new and exciting shoes. Each player–or, at least, the stars–were wearing something with personality. Curry and Under Armour knocked it out of the park this year.
