Comparing the Warriors to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music super team
By Owen Dillon
The Warriors have built a super team that compares to a musical superteam–Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music.
The superteam. A collection of talent that almost no one has ever seen, or could ever match. A group of individuals who all thrive on their own, coming together to form something simply amazing. That’s the Warriors. But that’s also rap label G.O.O.D. Music.
The comparisons don’t end there.
We all know the leaders of the Warriors super team. The so-called “Big 4”. But let me introduce you to a different kind of super team.
Kanye West, possibly the most famous person on the planet, has his own rap label called G.O.O.D. Music (Getting Out Our Dreams). The talent that he amassed for the label is amazing. There are leaders in every subset of rap. From trap music to storytelling, GOOD Music has it all. And so do the Warriors. I was thinking about this the other night.
The Warriors. A talented team of stars that brings energy and a certain vibe to every thing that they do. G.O.O.D. Music. A talented team of stars that brings energy and a certain vibe to every thing that they do. See where I’m going here?
We’ve got Yeezy and Steph, the leaders. 2 Chainz and Draymond, the energetic guys who bring the hype. Klay and Pusha, the cold blooded killers who speak with their actions. KD and Big Sean, the “other” great ones. Andre and John Legend, the socially conscious veterans. And Kid Cudi and Harry B. The outcasts who couldn’t quite live up to the potential.
The comparisons between the two leaders of industry are crazy. Let’s explore them a bit.
