2010-Present

The Warriors got this one right.

After using orange, thunder-inspired uniforms since 1997, the Warriors decided to return back to the roots and roll with their classic blue and yellow look.

In June 2010, a month before Joe Lacob and co. officially bought the team, the Warriors unveiled their new logo. It’s an updated version of their popular “The City,” showcasing the eastern Oakland side of the Bay Bridge.

Again, the Warriors stand out from the rest of the NBA. Other teams’ primary jerseys show their team name, but they don’t feature their main logo.

Changing the uniforms marked a change in direction and a shift in culture. With the new ownership coming in, the Warriors were ready to turn things around. And they did and exceeded even the biggest optimists’ expectations.

The Warriors decided to build around Stephen Curry, drafted Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, signed David Lee and Andre Iguodala, traded for Andrew Bogut and won their first championship in forty years. They then won 73 games and signed Kevin Durant.

They went from the laughingstock in the NBA to the standard. These look amazing, it’s a great logo, and they’ve been absolutely special in them.
