The Golden State Warriors will look to start a championship campaign with a strong regular season. Here are some of their most highly-anticipated matchups in the 2016-17 season.

The healing can officially begin, Dub Nation. After a certain event that took place in June (which shall remained unnamed) did not go in the Warriors’ favor, sights can now be set to a new season as the 2016-2017 NBA schedule was released Thursday. And there are some great games coming up.

While the same teams generally play each other the same amount of times every year, events such as the NBA Draft and free agency make each and every schedule release that much more exciting. It’s always fun to see homecomings, familiar faces in new jerseys, and unfinished business from the prior season all come to fruition, and the schedule release lets us dive into our imagination to envision what each and every match-up will look like. Narratives drive the regular season.

This is always an exciting time for basketball fans. Not only because it means we are that much closer to a new year, but it also gives us a chance to mark our calendars for the upcoming season’s most notable match-ups. Here are some Warriors games that you should keep an eye out for once the new season gets underway, but if you want to take a look at all 82 games, click here.
