14. Jeff Mullins

Jeff Mullins played ten long years with the Warriors, both in San Francisco and Oakland. He went from an All-Star and a fantastic scorer to a role player and champion. He provided balance, helping the team by doing whatever it needed from him to win.

Over the course of his decade with the team, Mullins averaged 17.5, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.1 assists.  Perhaps his best season came in 1968-69. He posted career highs in points (22.8) and rebounds (5.9) while still dishing out over four assists per game. He was named an All-Star that year as he helped lead the San Francisco Warriors to the playoffs. They eventually lost to Jerry West’s Los Angeles Lakers.

By the 1974-75 season, Mullins had taken a back seat to Rick Barry. He had a very limited role, playing just 17 minutes every night. In the NBA Finals against the Washington Bullets, he averaged a measly 8 points per night, just a season after averaging double that total. But still, he earned himself a ring.

Mullins was as three-time All-Star. He’s third in games played and sixth in total points in Warriors franchise history. His decade of service with the team left an impact on the team that ended with a championship title.
