The Golden State Warriors are going to have a tough time with the NBA’s Southwest Division, perhaps the strongest division in the entire league.

The Warriors are in the middle of the preseason and they’ve had some mixed results thus far. But that’s understandable; it’s preseason. They’re still trying to figure out how to incorporate and maximize the talent that they have.

Barring injury, the Dubs should have no problem winning the West for the third season in a row. But the conference is always pretty strong, even during it’s lows. There’s been a lot of moving parts in the league and the Warriors’ toughest challenges might come out of the Southwestern Division.

The teams in this division each have a lot of questions surrounding them heading into the new season. They’ll each be an underdog whenever they match up with Golden State. Here’s a look at each of those squads.
