Stephen Curry is 100% healthy and has some brand new supporting cast to take some attention off of him.

The Warriors have had Stephen Curry for a while now. Through two MVP awards and two NBA Finals appearances, he has been at the helm of all of it. Curry’s skill set has always set the tone for the Warriors’ potent attack and now he has more scoring options to defer to than he ever has.

This takes away yet another weakness that Cleveland needed to take advantage of to beat him in last years Finals. On top of this, Stephen Curry is completely healthy which means there is not a soul that will be able to keep him in front on isolation plays or switches in the pick and roll. While Steph has played some suspect defense this season, the effort is there and should only produce better results as the season goes on.

The most important thing is now that the Warriors have a more potent bench in terms of scoring with guys like Ian Clark emerging and veterans maintaining consistency in their roles, the depth is still pretty good. An even better wrinkle to that lies in the mere fact that Klay Thompson, Kevin durant, and Draymond Green can make more things happen that will allow Stephen Curry to play more freely off of the ball and in transition.

Another good sign in all of this is that the two time MVP has been getting really good as a facilitator and putting more pressure on the defense. As Stephen Curry continues to show his all-around ability, the chances of Golden State winning against Cleveland only get larger.
