Kevin Durant

The latest member of the Jedi to join the Golden State Warriors this season was Kevin Durant. While he might come off as Sith, First Order or Empire to everyone else in the league, he’s seen as part of the light side in the bay area.

The question of whether or not Durant will end up being “The Last Jedi” on the Warriors doesn’t seem like the likely choice for a variety of reasons. While Durant seems to be set on playing with the Warriors for a long time, finishing his career with them is a different story.

With the way the CBA is constructed in the NBA, Durant is going to get paid like a top superstar. The Warriors are going to be willing to give him the money that he wants and he’s going to play with them for a long time.

However, there will come a time when this roster is aging and Durant might be getting into his later years. If this roster is no longer a championship caliber roster when that time comes, it wouldn’t be surprising if he joined another contender or went back home to Oklahoma City, if they’re able to repair the bond that he once had with the organization.
