Draymond Green

There isn’t anyone that can quite match the intensity of Draymond Green on the basketball court. Coming into the league as a second-round pick, Green has fought for everything that he has been given, even if it has gotten him into some trouble.

The bond between him and the Golden State Warriors is an inseparable one and it’s hard to imagine him every playing for another basketball team. His unique skill set is something that isn’t easily replaced and he has pushed the Warriors to so many wins late in games with his defensive play.

When it comes to being “The Last Jedi” of Golden State, Green has the potential to be one but also maybe not. Sooner or later, the Warriors are going to have to spend an astronomical amount of money on all of their superstars.

They’re going to have to pay Stephen Curry this year and Kevin Durant will need another contract soon. Klay Thompson is going to want his piece of the pie and Green will certainly want his too. If the Warriors feel it is way too much luxury tax to pay and they’re better off down the line with three instead of four, maybe it’s Green. Still, the team would be wise to keep all of them together for as long as possible.
