Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson might be the most interesting guy in the whole league. He’s definitely the most interesting guy on the Golden State Warriors. This photo just proves that.

Thompson is one of the best players in the Association. He’s one of the greatest shooters to ever step on a court. The shooting guard holds many incredible NBA records that other greats could never even touch.

And, yet, here he is looking like a P.E. teacher that would have made the league if not for an injury. I mean, seriously, he showed up in sweats and a t-shirt to a photoshoot that saw players dressed up a little more.  But he’s Klay Thompson and he marches to the beat of his own drum.

Klay’s freshly cut evil goatee almost distracts from the fact that

the Warriors blew a

he’s wearing an Anta shirt. It’s a brand that’s so unrecognizable and, almost, insignificant that it looks like the featured brand of a department store and not the sponsor of one of the league’s top players. His whole outfit can probably be bought at Target for $20.

His grey sweatpants also have some suspicious white stains on them. Only Thompson could show up to a photoshoot in stained sweatpants. It’s a power move.

There’s also the random basketball on the ground. Why are his hands in his pockets and not holding the ball? Did he get in trouble for dribbling the ball indoors? If he is, indeed, a P.E. teacher, is he waiting for a student to pick it up? Is this a teaching moment?

Thompson’s serious face, nefarious goatee, stained sweatpants, and random ball make this an incredible picture.
