The Atlanta rapper released his fifth studio album FUTURE early Friday. The star entertainer has become one of the most popular artists in the game. His auto-tuned crooning of tortured lyrics over big beats have seriously won fans over.
The Warriors have become popular subject matter for rappers to spit about. Of course, Drake’s “Steph Curry with the shot” lyric is the most notable one. Most recently, Big Sean made a reference to Curry on his latest album I Decided.

Future Hendricks has decided to get in on the action. He’s no stranger to referencing Curry. He’s done it before, but now he doubled his NBA lyrics on “Draco” by adding Kevin Durant.
Here are the NSFW lyrics:
“Thirty five b***hes at the Saint Reg
Fall back shooter like KD
Back in the kitchen with the Curry”
It’s always bold to compare yourself to a great. Future takes it the extra mile on his latest album. He compared himself to two greats.
Steph and KD’s teammate JaVale McGee will probably be singing the lyric in practice after the All-Star break.
Like I said, when Future drops new music, it becomes a big deal. He makes tracks that athletes can listen to before games to pump them up.
If the Warrior keep winning, the references will keep coming. It’s a pretty easy way for rappers to lift themselves up. It’s never a bad idea to compare yourself to two of the best in the world. Also, it’s a nice way to endear yourself to the Bay Area.
