Klay Thompson repeat

Klay Thompson will be defending his title in the Three-Point Contest. It’s his third straight time in the competition, losing the first and winning the second. Warriors fans want to see him win it again.

The last two shootouts have been absolutely incredible. Thompson went head-to-head with teammate Stephen Curry both times. It was some of the best shooting the competition has ever seen.

In 2015, Curry said the record for most points in a round, racking up 27 points in the final round. The year after, Thompson exacted his revenge and scored 27 of his own points in the final round. The record was set and tied in consecutive seasons.

Thompson has a chance to be just the seventh player with multiple victories in the competition. It would be a nice addition to his growing resumé. It would bring him one step closer to the title of second greatest shooter of all-time.

There’s some tough competition for the Warriors’ All-Star. While Curry isn’t participating, he’ll have to get through guys like Kyrie Irving and CJ McCollum. He has his work cut out for him.

This contest, however, is Thompson’s to lose. He’s the best shooter of the bunch and he has the experience to go along with it. He is the person to beat.

Few players can get hot like he does. If he can get on a roll, like he did during his 60 point game, then it’s over. He can even break his own record.

The Warriors are the supreme three-point shooting team in the league because of the Splash Brothers. Both guys need to keep destroying records and winning. Thompson has a chance to do both and it would be great for Warriors fans to watch it.
