Curry would finish the night a cool 0-11 from deep. He still managed to finish the night with 19 points. The good news is that while Curry had a night to forget, the rest of the team was locked in on both ends of the floor.
The 76ers really struggled to hold onto the basketball and it was representative of the way the Warriors were playing defense. After struggling on Saturday night, Draymond Green had one of his classic games where he let his defense speak for him. Golden State got their hands up in passing lanes and it allowed for them to get transition buckets.
Give credit to the young 76ers who were missing Joel Embiid. They gave the Warriors everything they could handle in the first half. It felt like it was going to be a remake of the close game the two teams had last year.
However, the Warriors locked in during the second half and they forced their way to getting buckets. The strength of the offense on the night was getting to the line and the team making their free throws.

The team finished 33-39 from the charity stripe and hitting their free throws probably ultimately won them this game. If they didn’t shoot as well from the line as they did, then this game could have very well turned out differently.
Kevin Durant led all scorers on the night with 27 and his length on the wing was more than any 76ers defender could contain. Golden State now has 50 wins on the year and they will continue the road trip tomorrow night against the Washington Wizards.
