The Golden State Warriors can get back on the winning track with a resurgence from Stephen Curry against the New York Knicks on Sunday.

While there are plenty of concerns about the current state of the Golden State Warriors, this team has shown they’ve been able to shake off anything thrown at them. If there’s a team that plays the mental game the right way, it’s the Golden State Warriors. Now that they’ve lost a couple of games in a row and are without Kevin Durant, it’s the team’s chance to show everyone they can get right.

There’s a good place for any shooting streaks or losing streaks to end and that’s at Madison Square Garden on Sunday. The Golden State Warriors are facing a New York Knicks team that is deeply entrenched in the middle of the lottery standings currently.

With how poor Stephen Curry has been shooting the ball and the struggles that Klay Thompson has had, this could be the perfect opportunity for these two players and the team to get right. All eyes are going to be on Golden State with this being a national television game.

There’s really two ways that the team can go about this. They can either drop another one and in front of a larger audience to a bad basketball team, or they can put together a win and get some positive momentum going.

Curry and Thompson aren’t going to keep struggling to shoot the ball. They’re going to find their range again and when they do, it’s going to end up being bad news for the other team on the court.

New York is battling some injuries of their own and the Warriors have plenty of rest since their loss on Thursday. Before they head back west to play the Los Angeles Lakers and then head home, the team needs to get that 51st win and something to hang their hat on the flight home.
