Blue Man Hoop experts and contributors discuss the present state of the Golden State Warriors following Kevin Durant’s injury.

We live in a world in which Donald Trump is the President of the United States, so if you end up scrolling down your Twitter feed (or, God-forbid, your Facebook feed) and happen to see something you find difficult to believe, then chances are you should probably do a little more research on the matter because it’s probably fake.

Seriously — there are very few things in this world that you can truly trust nowadays. Everyone has alternative facts. There is fake news everywhere you look. People use filters and Photoshop on their pictures all the time.

That girl you just DM’d on Instagram? Probably a dude. Or maybe it’s a girl that identifies as a dude. You can never be too sure.

That said, there’s only three things in this world I know to be undeniably true:

  1. The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues.
  2. Hawaiian pizza is bomb af, and if you ain’t like pineapples on pizza, then that lowkey makes you prejudiced against Hawaiians.
  3. Kevin Durant is one of the best basketball players in the world, and any time something bad happens to a good player, then something bad will probably happen to the team (Please see “Stephen Curry” or “3-1 Lead”)

After losing Durant to injury in the first couple minutes of their game against the Washington Wizards, the Golden State Warriors have gone 1-2 in their last three games, notably losing back-to-back games for the first time since April 2015.

They’ve also since added José Calderón, waived him, then added Matt Barnes — all in a matter of 17.5 hours.

In this first installment of “Warriors Workshop,” Blue Man Hoop experts and contributors come together to discuss the state of the team following KD’s unfortunate mishap, including the addition of Matt Barnes, the fight for the 1st seed, and the first round of the 2017 NBA Playoffs.
