Shooting from the logo, celebrating during plays and blowing teams out, the Golden State Warriors are officially back and in control.

The Golden State Warriors sure picked a nice time to announce to the league that they’re back and ready to go for the playoffs. On a night where the San Antonio Spurs lost, the Warriors picked up another blowout victory and now have given themselves a little bit of a cushion in the race for the best record in the Western Conference.

It’s easy to tell with a team like the Warriors when they are who people expect them to be. During their struggles after Kevin Durant went down, the looks on their faces told the entire story. The awkward postgame interviews and the way people reacted to benching everyone against San Antonio gave off a vibe that this team needed to find themselves.

Perhaps it was the tough comeback win against the Philadelphia 76ers or blowing out the Orlando Magic, but there was a vibe in the Oracle Arena that people have become accustomed to. On Saturday night, that vibe was back with the Milwaukee Bucks in town and the fans were just as much into it as the team.

When Stephen Curry is pulling up from the logo to shoot, he’s feeling great. It’s a sign the team is having fun and that they’re in the groove they want to be in. Two straight blowout wins is an even better sign that they’re back.

Before anyone argues that the wins are over Eastern Conference teams not near the top, it should be noted how Golden State struggled with the 76ers. When things are tough like they have been for the Warriors recently, anyone can catch them and that’s the vibe they wanted to dispel right away.

Perhaps that was the lowest point they had to sink to as they realized they had to turn it around. Say what you want about Steve Kerr resting his guys against the Spurs, but it’s allowed them to come home and win three straight games.

It’s given them exactly the confidence that he wanted out of them. No one has their finger on the pulse more than him and it’s paid off. Now, the Warriors will head out for a brief two-game road trip against the Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks. That first game will tell you all need to know about where this team is at.
