Golden State Warriors keep on rolling with win over Wizards
The Golden State Warriors have won 11 straight games and Stephen Curry is playing like an MVP again at the perfect time.
When doing a case study of a team with a championship pedigree, many variables ultimately define the dedication and passion the Golden State Warriors play with. They have many great qualities that help turn them into a success on the court. One of those is the ability to remain calm and never let anything get to them.

That was the case once again on Sunday night, when Golden State rolled to their 11th straight victory. With a very good Washington Wizards team in town, the Warriors had no issues blowing them out of the water and winning, 139-115.
And old trends of success continued to pop up for the Warriors in this one. 34 assists was the magic number for what feels like the 100th time and the team just shot lights out at 56.2%. The Wizards played quite the game offensively themselves but it’s hard to beat Golden State when they’re on in such a matter.
Once again, a steady reminder that Golden State clicks at a level far above others when they’re on. A 42-point performance from Stephen Curry was merely a blip on the radar in comparison to the fun he was having on the court.
That’s ultimately the key to this run they have been on over the last few years. When they’re having fun and their shot is falling, wins like this happen. The playoff push is around the corner and Golden State has mixed the right ingredients at the right time.

They have a great chance of extending this streak over the next three, with games against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns and New Orleans Pelicans on tap. If Golden State goes into the playoffs with a lengthy win streak, it’s going to make them all the more difficult to defeat.
That fun they’re having and the way Stephen Curry is performing doesn’t go away the minute Kevin Durant steps back on the floor. Steve Kerr has his pulse on the team and will pull all the right strings. For now though, the Warriors are a cut above the rest.
