Stephen Curry had a great Game 1 for Golden State and he will lead the charge with or without Durant on the floor. He’s going to need help from his back court teammate however. Klay Thompson was cold against Portland in the first game and him getting hot in Game 2, would be huge for Golden State.
Of course, this is another chance for Green to impact the series with his outstanding defense. The team really rallied behind him as he gave them all the energy they needed with his hustle and commitment to shutting down Portland on offense. Game 2 has all the potential for Golden State to roll and head into Portland with all the momentum.
