Stephen Curry stole the show with his incredibly drive by Rudy Gobert and he lead all players in scoring for the night. If Golden State is going to continue this hot streak they are on, he has to keep playing at an MVP level.

Another key to the night was limiting Gordon Hayward. The Warriors’ defense locked in on the superstar for the Jazz and he was held to just 12 points. It’s hard to imagine him being so cold from the field again and the Warriors will have to expect better.

By taking a two-game lead in the series, Golden State would position themselves nicely as they get ready to head to Utah. Salt Lake City is one of the toughest places to play in the NBA and the Warriors don’t want to head their with a split.

If a two-game lead is what they want, the bench is going to have to play better. They didn’t provide much production in Game 1, but JaVale McGee made sure to put down a highlight slam and offer a little impact.
