The Golden State Warriors will look to take a commanding lead over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday night.

It wouldn’t be a series with the Golden State Warriors without controversy and all eyes on the team. After the foul by Zaza Pachulia in Game 1 that left Kawhi Leonard injured, controversy has found the team once again.

Going into Game 2, the Warriors are getting the injured San Antonio Spurs on their court once again. However, history has proven that the Spurs are at their best when their backs are against the wall and Golden State will have to be prepared for whatever is thrown at them.

As Leonard landed on Pachulia’s foot, he wound up hurting his ankle. He’s been ruled out for the game on Tuesday night, as a result of the injury. After he left the game on Sunday, the Spurs saw an epic collapse on the floor.

Having a 25-point lead at one time, San Antonio looked like they were going to shock Golden State and cruise to a victory in the first game of the series. Instead, they suffered a heartbreaking loss and are now without their best player.

For Golden State, Stephen Curry put together an incredible performance on the floor. With 40 points, Curry had one of the best playoff games of his careers and engineered the greatest playoff comeback in franchise history.

If he can continue to play his best for the Warriors, then Tuesday night has the chance to be another great night for the team. Golden State can’t afford to let San Antonio steal home court away with a split and taking a commanding lead into San Antonio would make things a lot easier on them.
