The Golden State Warriors have three players–Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Draymond Green–who were named to All-NBA teams.

The Golden State Warriors are the best team in the league. They have assembled arguably the most talented team in NBA history. They are being awarded for their individual greatness.

The league announced their three All-NBA teams. Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Draymond Green each were named to a team. Klay Thompson also received votes, but did not get named to a team.

Curry and Durant were named to the Second Team. Curry received 93 second places votes, but he also received one first place vote oddly enough. Durant got 66 second place votes and three first place votes.

This is Curry’s fourth All-NBA selection. His two MVP campaigns earned him a spot on the First Team. Curry averaged 25.3 points, 6.6 assists, and 4.5 rebounds for the season. He carried the team when Durant got hurt.

This is Durant’s seventh All-NBA selection in his career. He’s made the First Team five times before. He averaged 25.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.6 block per game while hitting 324 three-pointers. He would have, probably, made the First Team over Kawhi Leonard if he didn’t get hurt.

Draymond Green is on an All-NBA team for the second time in his career. He was on Second Team last season. He had 10 points, 7 assists, 7.9 rebounds 2 steals, and 1.4 blocks. Green probably will be the Defensive Player of the Year.

After back-to-back MVP campaigns, there was no room for Curry to make it onto First Team, despite really turning it on down the stretch. For Thompson, there are too many great guards for him to have earned a spot this season. Durant’s injury hindered him and Green’s scoring was probably held against him.

The first team was made up of Russell Westbrook, James Harden, LeBron James, Leonard, and Anthony Davis. A
