The Golden State Warriors have taken a commanding 3-0 series lead over the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference Finals.

The Golden State Warriors remain undefeated in the 2017 NBA Playoffs. They are a perfect 11-0 in the postseason as they take a 3-0 lead over the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference Finals. They defeated the Spurs 120-108.

The Spurs didn’t go down without a fight just as any Gregg Popovich team does. They got off to a hot start, drawing fouls and getting easy looks. They raced off to an early lead as Kawhi Leonard watched from the bench for the second straight game.

Stephen Curry and Draymond Green both picked up three first half fouls. Jonathan Simmons continued to play well. It was trending Spurs early.

But a Spurs team with Leonard doesn’t have enough weapons or stoppers to handle the Warriors so one without him had no chance. The Dubs turned it around, largely because of Kevin Durant’s third quarter explosion. He had 19 of his 33 points in the third period.

Curry had himself a very good shooting night. He shot 53 percent from the field and 42 percent from three. He also came away with 6 steals though he also had five turnovers.

Klay Thompson, who has been struggling lately, looked to come out of their slump. He had 17 points on 7/15 shooting while knocking down half of his three-point attempts. He also hauled in 6 rebounds.

The Warriors continued to bother LaMarcus Aldridge. He had just 18 points as the Spurs’ top option. Draymond Green, who had 2 blocks, held him in check.

JaVale McGee, starting in the place of the injured Zaza Pachulia, had 16 points in 12 minutes. He had some tough finishes around the rim. He gave the Warriors a spark early on.

Golden State will be looking for the sweep on Monday.
