The Golden State Warriors will look to finish the sweep of the San Antonio Spurs and punch their ticket to the NBA Finals on Monday night.

Once again, the Golden State Warriors are right on the doorstep of another trip to the NBA Finals. After an impressive showing on the road in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday night, the Warriors have a chance to complete the sweep of the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night.

With a win, the Warriors would be going to the NBA Finals for the third year in a row. It would also give them plenty of time as they wait for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics to finish off their series.

After missing most of the series, Kawhi Leonard is expected to be out again for the Spurs. With injuries piling up for the Spurs, they are going to need their best from the players that they do have on the floor to avoid the sweep entirely.

Still, the Spurs are a team that plays with a ton of pride and won’t just go away easily. If the Warriors are able to finish off the sweep, then it will be three straight to begin the playoffs. At 12-0, the Warriors would have all the momentum they need to keep things rolling into the NBA Finals.

It would also be a huge sigh of relief, as they would be back in the NBA Finals and with a chance to redeem themselves after last year. Kevin Durant hit some huge shots in the previous game for Golden State and getting to go to the second NBA Finals of his career and first with Golden State is all the incentive he needs to put up another huge performance.
