As the series shifted to Cleveland, it was obvious that the Cavs were going to have more energy. Irving picked up his play, scoring 38 points with most of them coming off of difficult shots. Kevin Love, who did not score much, grabbed 13 rebounds, each of them were deflating for the Warriors.

James was magnificent once again. He had 39 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists. He played 45 minutes and it just wasn’t enough.

The Warriors took an early lead, but the Cavs climbed back into it. Cleveland exploded for a big third quarter and the momentum shifted. It looked like James and Irving’s efforts were going to be enough.

With three minutes left, the Cavs were up 113-107. They looked like they were in control of the game. The Warriors had other plans.

Golden State went on an 11-0 run. Kevin Durant hit the shot of the season as he pulled up in LeBron James’ face for a savage three to put his team up by one with less than a minute left. It was cold-blooded.

They got a stop on Kyrie Irving and made free throws. Then, with a chance to tie the game, the Cavaliers went to James in the corner. As he rose up for the three, Andre Iguodala stripped him. Stephen Curry sealed the deal with free throws.

The Warriors are now heading into Game 4 with a 3-0 lead. They are in the driver’s seat. They can’t take their foot off the gas now though.

The Warriors can win a championship on Friday.
