The Golden State Warriors are going to have another championship parade. Here are five things we need to see at this amazing celebration.

The Golden State Warriors had an amazing championship parade in 2015. Oakland was packed with Warriors fans who were ready to party. It was a pretty incredible summer day in the Bay.

Last season, the Warriors were robbed of their chance to have a parade. Plans were already in place to celebrate the back-to-back champions. LeBron James and Kyrie Irving made sure that there wasn’t a parade in California. Instead, they brought it to Ohio.

The defending champs reside in the Bay Area once again. The Warriors dismissed the Cleveland Cavaliers in five games. Long after the champagne at Oracle Arena has dried up, a parade will take place.

The feeling surrounding this championship is different than two years ago. In 2015, it was elation. Just pure unadulterated joy overtook Warriors fans after the team’s first championship since 1975.

This year was about getting revenge. Adding Kevin Durant created a must-win situation for a team trying to learn how to incorporate one of the best players ever and a new bench. Perhaps no team in league history faced the pressure to win that this year’s Warriors did.

So, when that final buzzer sounded, there was relief. Of course there was happiness and excitement, but the general sentiment is that it was a relieving a moment. Finally, the moment we had all waited for was here.

So there will be a parade in Oakland once again. Just like any championship parade, it’ll be really fun. Here are five things we want to see this year.
