Golden State Warriors: Championship Klay Thompson is a treasure
The Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson is having the time of his life celebrating his second championship while on his promo tour in China.
Winning a championship is fun. Getting to celebrate over a year’s worth of hard work is amazing. As fans, it’s incredible. For the players who actually get to become basketball immortals, it’s even better.
The Warriors know how to party. The 2015 Finals proved that. They threw a solid parade in 2017 and the summer is just getting started.

While Draymond Green may be the king of the parade, no one is better at overall celebrating than Klay Thompson. What he does post-championship makes winning even better. In fact, the Warriors should win every year to ensure that Thompson gets free.
Here’s currently in China doing promotional work for Anta. And it’s been absolutely glorious. If you thought Las Vegas gets wild, it gets even crazier when Thompson is in another country.
The first viral video was a lowlight of Thompson getting a little out of his element. The sharpshooter tried to impress his Chinese fans with high flying hops. It didn’t end well for him.
He tried the 360 slam and he fell short. He got hung up on the rim.
Well, he’s never claimed to be a dunker. That championship rush has him feeling like he can do anything. While he ended up completing one later on another day, it’s best if he stays behind the three-point line.
it only got better from there. Thompson transition from the blacktop to the club. And it got even better.
Now that is really amazing. That’s better than anything Thompson could do on the court. That dancing exceeds his 60 point performance and his 37 point quarter by far.
Championship Klay Thompson–especially in China–is a treasure. We need to protect him at all costs. It’s why there probably isn’t much truth to the rumors that he would join Paul George in Los Angeles. He likes to win.
And we love watching him win. The Warriors should do it every year in order to unleash the real Klay Thompson.
