With the Golden State Warriors’ roster mostly in place, it’s time to start looking at the upcoming storylines for the 2017-18 season.

After winning two championships in the last three seasons and adding a 73-win season in the middle, there’s not much more the Golden State Warriors can accomplish other than winning more championships. At this point, it’s all about adding onto the legacy and building something special.

The Warriors have once again owned the offseason and Bob Myers and his staff have fielded yet another excellent roster. They took a team that tore through the entire playoffs last year and managed to make them deeper and add potential young pieces that can make an impact.

There is going to be plenty of expectations surrounding the Warriors in the upcoming season simply because of how good they’re going to be. It’s going to be interesting to see just what those expectations are, considering how well this team has lived above them.

They’re going to have new foes in the Western Conference try to knock them off the throne, ongoing rumors about the futures of their players and roster depth at certain positions as storylines to follow.

It’s going to be another exciting season to watch basketball in the bay area. As the season goes on, more storylines will come about and with a championship team like Golden State, they will follow in droves. Here are five upcoming storylines for the 2017-18 NBA regular season for the Warriors.
