Paul Pierce

One of Draymond Green’s best on-court troll jobs came courtesy of Paul Pierce. This had nothing to do with the rivalry between the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors as much as it had to do with Green just being himself.

After Pierce had said something early that had clearly set off Green, the latter responded with a heavy jab. Green went after Pierce for going on a farewell tour like Kobe Bryant and then reminded him that he is not.

Of all the on-court trash talk, this one was harsh but great as well. There’s probably a lot worse things said than this on a basketball court and it was a nice little jab by Green toward one of the former top players in the league.

Green going at it with legends is nothing new. His feud with Charles Barkley and others that have tried to disrespect the Warriors over the years shows that he will feud with anyone that tries to take him on.

In this moment, Pierce thought Green was the guy to say something to. It’s all fun and games between NBA brethren and the NBA Defensive Player of the Year made sure he had something to say.
