2. Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston return

Like most teams, the Golden State Warriors had some big decisions heading into free agency. With 10 players up for free agency, Golden State had a big obstacle in front of them keeping the core together.

Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston were two pieces of the core that many thought could be difficult to retain. Thanks to a Kevin Durant pay cut and a commitment to paying whatever it takes to keep this team together, the Warriors brought back both.

Iguodala ultimately got the deal that he wanted and Livingston got a nice deal for all of his work as well. The best chance that the league had at taking down the Warriors was in the event that they lost some of their depth.

Instead, they kept their two key bench pieces and managed to make the roster even deeper with the additions of Nick Young and Omri Casspi. A team that could have been fractured suddenly became stronger than ever before.

Of all the roster decisions this offseason, this was the biggest move. The team is set up to keep this party going for a lot longer and the rest of the league is going to have quite the time trying to catch up.
