10. Stephen Curry taking in Hollywood

The face of the Golden State Warriors has a future in more than just basketball and endorsements. Stephen Curry should get his shot at Hollywood and he already is beginning to get his feet wet in 2017.

While he had two cameos on The Simpsons and Family Guy during the season, his biggest role yet came in the summer. The premiere episode of season 3 of Ballers featured Stephen Curry appearing on the HBO hit show.

The show featuring Dwayne Johnson built the premise of the first episode and future ones around Curry. Johnson’s character, Spencer, is tasked with bringing Curry into the fold with his agency to woo a big client.

Athletes have always been the main focus of the show and Curry is one of the biggest yet to appear on there. To have a plot centered around him and one that’s ultimately going to drive the narrative of the main character shows that Curry has his spot.

It might just be cameo performances for now, but this is a place where he belongs. Even Ayesha Curry got her chance to appear and promote one of her real-life brands in the episode. That’s true baller status.
