2. Chris Wright

Chris Wright was a tremendous college basketball player for Dayton. He’s a player that has played globally and has really carved out a nice career for himself in the D-League. Although his time in the league was short, one of those was with the Golden State Warriors.

He played for the team in the 2011-12 season. He didn’t make much noise during his time with the team and then he bounced around the D-League before he ended up spending time with the Milwaukee Bucks.

He did manage to have a game where he scored 25 points as a Warrior, even if it took him 46 minutes to get there. Wright and several other players are a stark reminder of just how deep the talent pool in the league is to be able to have a lasting job.

While guys like him didn’t get to stay at the big level as long, they got a chance to showcase their talent around the world and still carve out excellent careers for themselves. It just makes basketball better at a global scale and gives players like Wright an outlet.
